The Principles of the Timbermen

Who We Are

The Timbermen is a national organization with chapters in every province and territory. We are citizens who love our country and freedom. We hold regular meetings on local, regional, and national levels. These meetings help members network and learn from one another. Being a member is a way of life as opposed to merely participating in a club, in that involvement in it embodies a philosophy larger than oneself.

Please understand, we are looking to unite those individuals that want to preserve our freedoms and to reclaim the freedoms that we have lost. If you believe in the freedom to raise your children with the values that you believe in, then the Timbermen may be for you. If you believe that we need to be prepared to not only survive, but actually thrive in the crises we likely face in the future, then the Timbermen may be for you. If you prefer the idea of wearing a cowboy hat rather than a tin foil hat, then the Timbermen may be for you.

If however, you do like the idea of wearing that tin foil hat, then the Timbermen is definitely NOT FOR YOU. We cannot accomplish our goals by beliving in and disseminating crazy conspiracy theories. Even the theories that may have some substance and truth in them are not what we want to focus on. Our focus needs to remain on networking with others and preparing for the many things we may have to face in the future.

Principles of the Timbermen

All Timbermen must abide by the following principles. Anyone who cannot accept these principles as a self-imposed discipline should have no part of this organization, nor should they consider themselves to be a part of the Timbermen.

  • Moral Integrity. Knowing what is right and wrong with regard to freedom and acting accordingly. Being trustworthy, truthful, and holding high values and principles. Strength to stand up when something is morally wrong.
  • Physical and Mental Readiness. Developing the ability to meet the demands of any task in order
to accomplish the objective at hand. There are some obvious exceptions for Timbermen who have disabilities that prevent them from meeting certain physical demands.

Vision

  • To create a national network across Canada comprised of like-minded individuals for the express purpose of strengthening and aiding communities and by extension, the country.

Mission

Our mission to accomplish our vision includes the following:

  • Providing a framework to grow our organization.
  • Educate ourselves and others with regards to the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, the larger political arena, and emergency preparedness.
  • Educate and involve ourselves in survival “prepping,” homesteading, and self/community reliance.
  • Increased involvement in community outreach events such as disaster preparedness and response for veterans, the elderly, and those in need.

Values

  • Integrity. We are accountable for our actions and always act with the highest level of integrity.
  • Balance. We understand the foundations of family are the reason for everything we do. The preservation of our family should always come first.
  • Teamwork. We are driven to work cohesively with a common purpose.
  • Courtesy, Dignity, and Duty. We hold all of our members and all with whom we volunteer and interact with to the highest standards of courtesy, dignity, and duty. Through the practice of these values, respect for one another is cultivated and a bond is formed which is not easily broken.

Moving Forward

We hope that through this organization, people can find purposeful unity from the chaos and disarray of our current trajectory. Change begins with each one of us and we must be willing to find common ground. We are here to help you prepare for what may come and in so doing, experience success.

Together we can accomplish anything. Together we are one. We are everywhere.
